An Excerpt from my book, "The Two Witnesses/ The Holy-Gram Of Biblical Physics"

......"Let’s take the tower of Babel story in Genesis, for example. Remember that one”
“Sure, let’s do it.” Bob urged.
“Okay, turn to Genesis 11 and 1: ‘Now the whole earth was of one language [everyone interpreted scriptures the same -- carnally, earthy], and of one speech [or they all sound alike].’ Remember the seven churches, or women, taking hold of one man or doctrine? It’s the same as one speech.
“Verse two: ‘And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east
[rising of the light], that they found a plain in the land of Shinar
[Babylon; confusion at it’s fullest extent], and they dwelt there.’ Verse
three: ‘And they said one to another, go to, let us make brick, and burn them
thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.’ These
are the teaching materials men use
for building the temple of God, or the word, which is in our minds.
“Verse four: ‘And they said, go to, let us build
us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us
make us a name [in the minds of men], lest we
be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.’
Now so far, men, meaning those who are carnally minded, are telling
everyone how to live for God, or they are trying to build a tower to heaven.
Same difference, but they are using slime for mortar. This slime will not hold
up in the storms of life or when truth appears, and the house or tower they’re
building for God will fall when the scriptures are understood spiritually. This
tower of Babel, is the same Babylon in the book of Revelation.
That’s another story.
“Pay close attention to what happens next in verse five through nine: ‘And the
Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the
children of men builded... And the
Lord said, behold, the people is one, and they have all one language
[one motive, one intent, or ecumenism]; and this they [men]
begin to do: And nothing will be restrained from them, which they have
imagined to do.’ Here again, ‘imagined’ refers to the woman.
“Verse seven: ‘Go to, let us go down, and there
confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.’
Did you notice, more than one is coming down?
‘So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face
of the whole earth: And they left off to build the city [tower].’
A reference you may not understand just yet, but you will later, is Luke 1 and
51. Let’s look at it quickly and we’ll get back to verse nine: ‘He hath shewed
strength with his arm [the power of his word which
is Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God]; he hath
scattered the proud [men] in the imagination
of their hearts.’
Now verse nine: ‘Therefore is the name of it Babel; because the Lord did
there confound the language of all the earth: and
from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of
all the earth.’ Have you noticed anything strange about this
story, how it would be impossible to take literally? It is a beautiful
example of how the carnal mind has been trained by the letter, to
overlook the spiritual meaning behind these stories.”
“Wow, James!” Bob interrupted. “By the way you were emphasizing, none of
it makes sense the way it used to. I know it has to be spiritual, and it’s
talking about the one world religion that he had to scatter
because of their power over others. What am I missing?”
“You’re going to love it, Bob.” Tony interjected. “I couldn’t keep from falling
out of my chair when James showed me this one. I’m sorry James, I just
couldn’t help it, you know this is one of the ones that really got me.”
“Yeah it was, Tony. He really ‘got off’ on that one Bob. It was funny
though.”
“What? What? What am I missing? Bob said, almost begging.”
“Okay,” James continued. “Remember when I read the part where God had to come
down and ‘here’ confound their language? If it were a literal
situation, don’t you think God had enough knowledge to know that building a
tower to heaven would have required oxygen... in such an undertaking...
and there was really nothing to worry about? We couldn’t have gotten far
enough for him to even think about coming down, let alone to bring a whole cast
of angels to scatter us. But, there again, this is just a story.
This is not a physical tower. This ‘tower that men build’
is a religious empire, delegating their will,
dogma, condemnation, and scorn on us to serve their interpretation
of God in the way their leaders have imagined for us to
worship him.”
“Oh my God! You’re right! I would never have noticed that in a million years! I
can’t believe how simple that was. How could they have carried oxygen
with them? That’s
simply beautiful! Just awesome!
James and Tony both laughed as Bob ranted and raved.
“I’m not throwing stones at them,” James said. “Because they don’t know what
they do. As a matter of fact, there was a time when I taught scriptures carnally
myself-- all have sinned. But I kept running into
these little contradictions, and I couldn’t let well enough alone until I
could understand why anyone would want to write the scriptures that
way.
