All things are dual in its nature, but one, in its Spiritual unity, i.e. invisible singleness - omnipresent. To conceive scripture "literally," is to "contradict" the Spiritual interpretation, thus the crucifying (contradiction) of Jesus (the hidden truth) "afresh" and putting him (truth) to an open shame (confusion - contradiction). The word "shame" is also rendered "confusion." To elaborate on this further, which will help tie in the Apocrypha texts, let's look at some scriptures in Hebrews chapter 6.

Verses 1 through 3 suggest for us to leave off the "traditional" way of teaching scripture (this is referenced in Hebrews 6:1) so that we might go on unto "perfection." Verses 4, 5 and 6, reads; "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened [having seen the Spiritual understanding], and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost [again; spiritual interpretation]....And have tasted the good word of God [Rightly dividing - from the bad], and the powers [understanding] of the world to come....If they shall fall away [from seeking the Spiritual], to renew them again unto repentance [change of mind]; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God [2nd. Corinthians 13:5] afresh, and put Him to an open shame." After running references on the word "afresh," you will find it means, "in the exact same manner as always." There is the, "Son Of Man" and there is the, "Son Of God". Two personifications. 

As it says: "The same yesterday, today and forever." There again meaning the same as always. By saying - "The Good Word of God", implies there is a "Bad Word" of God, there again implying there are "Two Sides" to the Word and be construed to 'imply' the Word is a "two edged s/word", thus, having to be rightly divided. See, Sinful Flesh that He came in for the "Bad Word" story. The "Good Word" means, Savior; or Hesus (Jesus). The "good word" is anointed and becomes " Christ (anointing) Jesus (good word).  See the two sides here.

Before expounding on the last three paragraphs it will be of necessity to understand what the word "Jew," in the Bible, represents. Revelation chapter 2 verse 9 reads; "I know thy poverty, but thou art rich [in the law] and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan (the Letter)." And chapter 3 verse 9; "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet [beliefs - knowledge], and to know that I have loved thee."

It is quite apparent by looking at these two scriptures, that one would have the option of "calling himself" a Jew. This would certainly remove the thought of referring to a physical Jew when reading this. Another place of reference for this is in Esther chapter 8 verse 17; "....And many of people of the land (of religion) became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them." Now, two more verses in Romans and we should start getting a clearer picture of how all this ties together.

Romans 2; 28, 29; " For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is 'outward' in the flesh:....But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." In short, a true Jew is one that strives to discover the hidden meanings of the Father -Word - without contradiction or controversy. But, because of blindness to the spiritual interpretation, they are the ones who crucify "to themselves" and those that follow them, the "word of truth" - i.e., Christ. Traditional religion are those Jews which are referred to as Israel but are not the referenced Jews in the scripture. For more on what the word Jew represents, click this link. Edgar Cayce puts it thus; "This is the meaning, this should be the understanding to all: "Those that seek are Israel"".

Now, from what has been said; the crucifixion of Jesus, "the story," has always been the same. "The same yesterday, today and forever." Anytime we teach or believe the writings carnally, or in the literal sense, we crucify or make of contradiction the Spiritual truth and make of it total confusion (open shame). So when we look at the whole of the matter of duality in scripture, we find the "inner" hidden "Christ" or understanding of the Word is veiled in symbolism, allegory, metaphor, paradox, parables, swaddling clothes etc.; which if taken literally keeps us from "seeing" the blood, truth, light, understanding, Son, sun etc., because these protective veils -- (swaddling clothes - i.e., 'sinful flesh) keep the impure mind from communicating with the "hidden truth of the Word" i.e. the Son.
Another note on the "duality" of scripture, for those interested in the pyramids, there's an interesting section in "The Great Pyramids Decoded" by Peter Lemesurier; publisher; Avon. In chapter three, titled; "The Pyramid Speaks," page 83 - second paragraph, he's discussing the "lower well shaft" at the bottom of the pyramids. ".............The fairest assessment would therefore seem to be that the Well-Shaft represents a potential opportunity to join the path of the enlightened ones--an opportunity which, even if not fully profited from, will still lead at very least to the path of the semi-enlightened. In either event, then, the Well-Shaft represents a path to life for those ascending it.

We have already seen, however, that the Well-Shaft just as clearly represents a pit of physical death for those descending it. Not that it is at all illogical that a passage should have a diametrically opposite meaning when traversed in a diametrically opposite direction. What is perhaps surprising is that a single feature should apparently exercise two different meanings simultaneously, and that a passage as narrow as the Well-Shaft should symbolically act as a kind of two-way highway. Indeed, the very unusualness of this dual symbolism would seem to suggest the possibility of some direct link between the physical death and spiritual life here referred to. Perhaps, in short, the two apparently contradictory symbolisms are in some way historically interdependent."

The scriptures are laid out the same way. The way of the dead, is down. The way of the living, is up. To take the scriptures literally is death and leads downward to hell - or, profound confusion; the same Word or - Shaft - two directions at the same time. "To the one, we (the Shaft - Word - epistles, etc.) are the savour of death unto death, and to the other the savour of life unto life, and who is sufficient for these things?" Those who are familiar with Schrdinger's cat can see the same pattern here, i.e., the scriptures can 'kill' or make 'alive' by the same words (the "two edged sword" See: God's Elect). Another, and I think I have mentioned it, but suffer me to do it again; St. John 10:39; "Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world [think not that I came to bring peace], that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind." Here, the same paradox presents itself, i.e., good and bad at the same time. Before I leave this beautiful book I would now like to add, for those who have not read it, the Appendix J "The Messianic Plan - A Tentative Summary;" it is located at the back of the book on page 339. 

APPENDIX J: The Messianic Plan - A Tentative Summary:

"What we call, for the want of a better term, men's souls [spirit] have in some sense existed forever. At some unimaginably distant point in the remote past they became involved in the earth planes during the culminating stages of terrestrial evolution. But in the process they became fatally enmeshed in the pleasures and pains of the physical world [human senses]. Not only now are they unable to escape, but men have to a large extent ceased [dead - or asleep] to be aware that escape is even possible, or that they have any claim to independent spiritual existence [salvation] at all.

Consequently their souls are constantly drawn back to the physical world - birth after birth, and consequently death after death [a good example of reaping what we create]. There are a few who manage, over many existences, to drag themselves up by their own boot-straps [Work out their own salvation] to the spiritual level where only one more incarnation during the Final Age [the 'third' day - now] will ensure their escape into immortality -- the few who actually find the 'narrow way' and who 'take the kingdom of heaven by storm' -- but for the many the broad highway of mortality [or ignorance of law] remains the norm. From this condition the escape is of course, paramount, for the physical 'host-world' cannot last forever, and its eventual destruction must inevitably result in the destruction of all its parasites as well, and consequently something akin to the 'death' of the soul.

Hence the Messianic Plan, whose purpose is to drive a motorway through the mountains of death and despair [which is tantamount to traditional teachings] and to open up to man the fertile uplands [understanding] of immortality. It was the mission of Jesus of Nazareth [the story], a man who deliberately personified the second in the Messianic trinity of 'prophet priest and king,' to symbolize the plan in his own life and death [this story of Jesus is a personification of the pyramid mathematics], and to initiate the process of putting it into effect.

This involved (i) preparing the soul [re-newing of the mind], by encouraging man to make a fresh start on freeing himself from the bonds of mortal self-gratification at the expense of others (the moral teachings); (ii) planting the seed which is (new knowledge) and realization in-man (and it was new to many Jews in his day) [as it is the church, collectively, today] that he is a spiritual creature shackled to a mortal body [mortal-body - metaphor, parable, symbolism, allegory, etc...does shackle the unsuspected or the uninitiated reader /searcher to the 'word-body'], but with rights to a divine and eternal inheritance; and (iii) fertilizing the crop i.e. giving his followers faith in their ability to make this giant evolutionary step, by himself showing that he, physically a mere man, could achieve it.

This demonstration will come to full fruition with his return at the end of the age [only to those who look for him [Heb.9:28}. This is not a 'physical' appearance], at the beginning of his third 'day' [or, third thousand years - now] of a thousand years after his death. All men will be alive to witness this event [great Babylon shall come in remembrance of her God or - all shall know me from the least to the greatest etc.], and will thus have final 'proof' at last - a proof that catalyze, if they wish it, their ultimate return to the Real world, which the world of pure spirit (far from condemning man) has been trying, in its 'mercy,' to engineer now since the beginning of what we call time. There will however be some who reject the opportunity and who will prefer to condemn their own souls to 'death' [eternal ignorance]. But the righteous will say: Psalm 16:10

But, for their part, the 'sons of God' will, by a process of rigorous self-perfection [work out your own salvation etc..],will be led by a succession of Messianic figures into the 'way of Truth,' which at length will lead them to the gateway of 'a new heaven and a new earth.' Then at last the great exodus will begin and man, conquering the last death, will emerge victorious into the Promise land of the spirit [i.e.- our birth-right]. The Messianic Plan for human evolution will have been fulfilled." ....... Brackets [-] and bold type are mine....Dwayne.
I will now add a section of Zoroastrianism: "The Doctrine of After Life in Avesta and Pahlavi: by Dr. Pallan R. Ichaporia". Taken from The Avesta and the Vendidad: In case you are not familiar with these books, or my previous pages, this section will probably make little sense to you but, the reason I am adding it is to show the relationship of what we just read about - the "two-way-at once" well shaft. I have highlighted (in red) the sentence that is relative to it.

Avesta and the Vendidad:

3a."Menog Xverat: The Pahlavi book "Menog Xverat", = the Spirit of Wisdom, in the second chapter, speaks in an illusory fashion about body and soul (tan va ravan). It alludes to the fate of the soul after the bodily death. For three days and nights the soul lingers near the body at its last resting place and on the dawn of the fourth day it gets the support (awakih) of the three Yazatas Sarosh, Vae-i-shapir (the Good wind) and Vahram (Behram) and at the same time it meets the opposition (hamistarih) from demons (baneful and evil forces) such as Ast-vidat (separator of body and consciousness), Vae-i- saliter (foul wind), Farzisht (deceiver/pilferer of duty), Nazisht (braggart) Aeshm (anger).

The soul, either of truthful or untruthful, travels towards the Account Keeper's Bridge (Chinvat), where it has to give an account of deeds performed in the material world. The impartial judgment is given by Mehr, Sarosh and Rashnu Yazatas and in a poetical fashion we read that Rasnu, the righteous holds the balance where the deeds are weighed (Note. The figure of blindfold lady holding a balance is an epitome of justice). Menog Xverat gives the same version as the Hadokht Nask, but further supplies in Pahlavi what seems to have been missing from Hadokht Nask, Menog Xverat alludes that soul of the untruthful is accosted by his/her bad deeds which takes the form as an ugly maiden.

The soul inquires about her and is told "I am not a maiden but your (bad) deeds" (lila kanik bara kunishn-i lak), the personification of bad deeds then torments, reprimands and chides the untruthful and the soul taking the four steps goes to "worst-existence" (hell). The important point of difference between the Vendidad passage 19 and rest of the Avesta and Pahlavi is very profound (and generally not known to many Zoroastrians). While Vendidad has no maiden (beautiful or ugly) coming to greet the departed soul, but only bright illumination meets the soul of both truthful and untruthful which depresses the soul of untruthful and comforts that of the truthful." Gods vengeance, again; Romans 12:19-21.

If we take the words "Bright Illumination," and use it metaphorically with the words; Christ, Truth,  The Word, The killer or The savior, and look at the parable in St. John 9:39, we can see how the Same Judgment heals or causes blindness at the same time. This same judgment is the same well-shaft, - the same Word. Verse 39: "And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and they which see might be made blind." The Word (especially the bible) does both. As it certainly suggests in 2nd Thessalonians, 2:8.

This brings to mind the scripture in 2nd. Corinthians chapter 2 verses: 14-16, where it says; " Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place....For we [the two-edged sword - well-shaft] are unto God a sweet savour of Christ in them that are saved, and in them that perish: ....To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?"

Again, compare this with an earlier verse we read in "The Great Pyramid's Decoded."

A set of stairs would represent the same thing; as two people pass each other on the stair case, one walking up, and the other walking down. The stair case goes both directions at the same time. It is up to the one on the stairs which way he chooses to go.

And there's always where it says; "Behold, I create the good and the evil; I kill and I make alive sayeth the Lord." Sounds familiar now doesn't it?...It's talking about the "dual" principle in all things. The way things work is the "operation of energy in matter" (oem) = God.  In the "Word" it is called "spirit," or "the operation of spirit in -flesh; there again, matter; and is the same as "His Flesh," "His Body," i.e. the "Word". And then there is "His Blood," Life, Spirit, Truth and so on. 

Here's a paragraph in "Thoth The Atlantean," Only Tablet XV: Secret of Secrets that falls right in line with the above. I have posted beneath it in red my translation so you can see the comparison. Here again, unless you are familiar with the esoteric interpretation, none of this will make sense to you unless you have read all the previous pages.

"Concentrate my children, waiting to hear the unity of all things which shall give ye understanding to unfold your birth-right knowledge, and give ye the way to your former state from which ye were diverted. Plainly shall I speak of the allegorical puzzles.  No literal interpretation shall I give unto thee.  Open thy minds ears now my children.  Hear and obey the understanding that I give.  First I shall speak of the law of illusion which bind ye in chains to the sphere of the literal words.  The lie and the truth are both of one nature [see Psalms 139:12], different only in seeming, for Each arose from the source of all. Darkness, or the lie, which is in the law of disorder [confusion = contradiction]. Light, or truth is order, harmony and peace. The Law transmuted or "un-transgressed" is light of the Light. This, my children, is your purpose in being; - transmutation of darkness to Light i.e., from carnal to spiritual. In biblical terms; "born again." Hear ye now of the mystery of the law, the relations of truth to the knowledge, which is represented by "earth," where it dwells. Know ye, ye are threefold in nature, physical, astral and mental In one. Three are the qualities of each of the natures; nine in all, as above, So below. Omnipresent - outer and inner."

Allester Crowley, on contradiction, as stated from Tim Maroney, in - Truth And Falsehood: _and_Falsehood.html .... "Contradiction to Crowley was not a problem but a sign of a higher mystical understanding transcending the rational. Ordinary understanding is held to be inadequate to engage Truth and in fact it is thought to be in the way. A standard preparation for the Ordeal of the Abyss is to constantly multiply contradictions in one's mind, each thought contradicting the previous [this is representative of the spherical cocoon], until the trance known in yoga as samadhi is attained. Every fixed idea [the 'image'] is shown to be partial and false [Paul's lie], including ideas about the self, until finally the tyrannical usurper Reason is dethroned and the True Will comes to take its place [A conversion point or, revelation]."

Hebrews Chapter 12 verses one through five on contradiction.

1. "Wherefore seeing we [the enlightened] also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses [speaking of the truth of information hidden in scripture and at this stage, elsewhere also], let us lay aside every weight, and the sin [error] which doth so easily beset us [wrestling with the controversy] , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2. Looking unto Jesus [the Good Word] the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy [finding and over-coming the contradiction] that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame [shame = confusion], and is set down at the right hand [spiritual teaching] of the throne of Knowledge.

(NOTE: Above, "Endured the Cross," and below - "Endured the Contradiction.")

3. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners [those who teach the literal interpretation] against himself [truth], lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. [As you can see here, enduring the cross is the same as enduring the contradiction, and to find and overcome this, through endurance. This is the same as "overcoming the flesh or, overcoming the earth". Cross, simply means - the "Contradiction." The death of the cross means no more contradiction because the blood or life of the cross is gone from it, in Christ, or truth. To endure the cross is to endure and wrestle with the contradiction]

4. Ye have not yet resisted [a form of endurance] unto blood [dying = re-newing of the mind - I die daily etc.], striving against sin [i.e., the contradiction or controversy (i.e. - duality) of the Word, "where some wrestle to their own destruction]."

5. "And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening [controversy] of the word, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:... "  Verse five deals with striving against the chastening or, sin - Gravity - the "controversy."

When reading scriptures "literally," it is like going down the well shaft. Understanding them spiritually, is going up. It is easy to get caught in the gravity of the emotional pull of the literal interpretation because of the "human" aspect of existence and it's necessities. If we truly are eternal beings experiencing the human experience, and the writers of ancient writ knew that they would return, they would have written what has been written the way it was written - to ones like unto themselves, ( by this, I mean, to the one that has incarnated now) to the ones that would search for the hidden dark mysteries of these writings. This being the case, the scriptures are not written to the "human aspect," but to the eternal spirit within; to the one that enters the body, and the one that leaves it. Once the diligent seeker is aware of this, the metaphors etc. take on an entirely different understanding. Our salvation is - not to take them literally.  For by taking them literally we fall into the traps and snares of the law and are drawn into that downward gravitation of condemnation and guilt contrary to our spiritual birth-right. The literal teaching of scripture feeds the "un-enlightened mind" such things as false pride, ego, false sense of divinity, greed, arrogance, FEAR and much, much, more. Thus the world stage as it is. The law is full of curses (traps, gins, snares), that is why it is referred to as "sinful flesh." Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ  (spiritual understanding), that we might be justified by faith." Galatians 3:25 "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (the LAW)". The deep hidden meanings or understanding is called the truth or the light or the Christ. This truth is found in the "likeness of sinful-flesh," the lie or metaphors. Another reason for saying we must eat His flesh and drink His blood. Which means we have to know the law, but (and) also know it spiritually. When we first start our search of scripture we are born in sin (literal interpretation) and go (now hear this) straightway speaking lies. Speaking lies that the writer called, Paul was talking about in Romans 3:7. where he says; "For if the truth of my writings hath more abounded through my lie (the stories, allegories, metaphors etc.), why do you judge me as one that would take or teach them literally?" The very thing I hate, that is what I do says Paul. He has to write them this way to hide the truth from men, but yet putting it in a way to be revealed to babes in Christ or, to those who have at least a little spiritual understanding.

    Not that this is bad or wrong, for without the negative or opposite force, either force would not have energy to perpetuate its evolution (in this sense it's called grace because it "encourages" one to do something until they achieve it), and one of the reasons for these statements is; "Let the wheat and the tares grow up together," do not expose Cain, and speaking of Judas, i.e.; "What is that to thee if he [Judas] tarry till I come... etc.  "Duality" must exist to sustain the very life force that keeps them both a afloat. The earth feeds the roots of the weed and the rose without respect to one or the other.  But now, the energies have reached "critical mass," and it is time for the separation, or you could say, "the explanation."  The allegory, metaphors etc. for this is called the  resurrection, the enlightened-mind, cosmic consciousness and so-forth.  Now, is the time for the truth, and that is an explanation for everything without any doubt or contradiction.  I think I've said it once - on-line, but, again it is written; "if you have broken the least of these my commandments, you have broken them all."  I emphasize least and all because it is mathematically correct to understand the statement this way also; "If you understand the one you broke, you will understand them - all."

    If you recall? in the introduction on the home page, I mentioned where it was talking about "the other Jesus" in second Corinthians chapter eleven, verse four. The word "other" (sing.) denotes at least "two" of something. What the writer is referring to is, there is someone (or - movement or message, revelation, awakening, theoretical sciences) coming that will be teaching the opposite of what he is teaching in the literal sense and we would do well to bear with him/it. And how did he say he himself wrote/taught scripture....? Through "a lie." by letters. The "letter that killeth.  The ones he said he made us sorry with. The ones he said was the part that was the savour of death unto death etc.. He even asks the question "Do ye look on things of the outward appearance (the implication here is to scripture) ...?" And when we look at second Corinthians 5:16 we see another clue of; "another" Jesus whom he now worships, and the "first one" he worships no more. Once - he did - now he doesn't!

    What does this tell us....? He is trying to tell us that there are - two ways - to look at the scripture. The "beast" he was knocked off of is an allegory of his transition from looking at it one way and then looking at it another. And when we take a look at what "Jesus' name" means in Revelation 19:13, we can see it is talking about the Word. The Word and the Son - are one. Two opposite "parallels" or, the same "well shaft." It goes both ways at the same time - the two mouthed word - swordHe knew there would be another teaching of another Jesus (the hidden one - the one who comes through revelation) because of what was written and what he was writing. This is the "bondage" he speaks of when he says he can't speak plainly but having to write in metaphor etc. to reach our sub-conscience faculties. Our conscience-mind is not accustomed to thinking abstractly, in fact, the literal impression of scripture, or appearance thereof is designed to keep it from doing so. This is why it talks about "enduring," and why it says we must "endure" to the end of the earth. Earth meaning matter; image; the thing that is made. This thing that is made is the image. Words make an image. This image comes from words, which come from experiences from things of matter - images again. When reading the bible, the first images received from them are images of things of matter, thus the literal interpretation - traditionally - put forth.

After reading the information I have written to this entire site about contradictions and how they are intrinsically a creative driving force - dynamically evolving - evolution itself; physical, mental and spiritual, I feel, by using the methods suggested, the reader can easily see a pattern. Now consider personifying these characteristics of the operation of energy in matter (oem), and creating them into images; images are better than a thousand words. Give these images names such as John, for what he would represent, and Mary, for what she would represent, and of course, throw in some historical places for reflection and so on - all under the lineage of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve, being the male and female faculty of the human mind (Genesis 5:1,2, and that's another story - HERE - 1 Timothy 2:15 where the stage is( present and future tense) then weave all these places, names and images into stories, and then into metaphorical stories wrapped in a paradoxical allegory (line upon line precept upon precept, here a little and there a little, in continuance is it fashioned) and present it as a parable and behold!, you have scriptureScripture, when seen esoterically (metaphorically - etc.), is  nothing more than an explanation, in scientific format, of the creation of all things - without contradiction. Such reiteration! It gets better.
